Actor Jang Geun Suk has found a new means of communicating with his fans. On April 9th, he released the Jang Geun Suk iPhone application. In his app, he greets his fans with a personal message along with pictures he took himself.
Jang Geun Suk wanted a way to communicate with his fans in real time; and as a result, he decided to make a smartphone app. Unlike other celebrities’ apps that are managed by their agencies, Jang Geun Suk will personally update his. This app will allow fans in Korea and abroad stay connected to the actor. Jang Geun Suk plans to personally manage the app and update it with videos, photos, and other tidbits of his life.
He commented, “I’m extremely excited because my fans and I will be connected. I’ve always wanted to write to my fans and update them about my life. Furthermore, I wanted to hear what my fans had to say. It’s easy, fast, and convenient; and I’m having a lot of fun going through the app.”
Jang Geun Suk plans to release his debut Japanese single on April 27th. He is also preparing for his Asia Tour that will take him to countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China.
