“City Hunter” releases still-cuts of Lee Min Ho’s shower scene

On May 25th, SBS’s “City Hunter” released a set of sizzling still-cuts of actor Lee Min Ho showing off his perfect body in a shower scene.
According to the producers the scene was shot back on the 15th and is considered an important detail to understanding the overall plot for the drama.  Lee Min Ho plays the role of ‘Yoon Sung’, an undercover Blue House official that is forced to hide his exceptional athletic skills in order to keep his identity hidden.
After completing judo training with his co-workers, ‘Yoon Sung’ insists on showering alone in an effort to hide his past battle scars.
Through still-cuts released earlier, we already know that he’s trained in not only gunnery, but Filipino martial arts and judo as well.  As it turns out, he’s also taken up aerobic exercises and swimming to further sculpt his body.
With such dedication, “City Hunter” is certainly shaping up to be one of the most anticipated dramas of the year.  The pilot episode is scheduled to air on May 25th!

Lee Min Ho Masters the Art of Seduction

Actor Lee Min Ho mastered the art of seduction for his upcoming drama “City Hunter” along with the art of gun fighting, tree climbing, martial arts, and a Ph.D degree from MIT. Recently released photos reveal the Blue House National Communications’ agent Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) getting cozy with neither Kim Nana (Park Min Young),his to-be love interest, nor Choi Da Hae (Goo Hara), the President’s daughter who has a huge crush on him, but with a mysterious unknown woman (Min Young Won).
In the photos, the two are at a club drinking and “enjoying” each other’s company. Lee Min Ho manages to pull Min Hee’s (Min Young Won) heartstrings with his at-times indifferent and unresponsive attitude as she tries to get more intimate with him. His character, Lee Yoon Sung, is said to be quite the womanizer with enough skills in seducing women to rival Casanova.
While he’s probably mixing work with pleasure, it is said that Lee Yoon Sung only wooed Min Hee as part of his undercover mission. Actress Min Young Won is most known for her character in “Boys Before Flowers.” She played Lee Mi Sook who was part of the JinSunMi gang who went out of their ways to make Jandi’s (Gu Hye Sun) life miserable. She was asked by director Jin Hyuk to guest star in “City Hunter.” The two have worked together in “Brilliant Legacy” where she played Han Hyo Joo’s BFF. Last year, she received much media attention after receiving a proposal from a Dubai prince.
Representatives of SSD stated, “Lee Min Ho melted the hearts of our female crew with his art of seduction. They’ve nicknamed him Casahunter saying he surpasses Casanova’s skills in seducing women.”
“City Hunter” is based on the best-selling Japanese manga by Hojo Tsukasa and also stars Lee Joon Hyuk, Goo Hara, and Hwang Sun Hee. It will air its pilot episode this coming Wednesday, May 25th.

Lee Min Ho Fights in Mud - Still Cut

[ Photo 1 Lee Min Ho with mud ]
Actor Lee Min Ho fought against twelve men for a scene in his upcoming drama "City Hunter." In early April, he shot a muddy fight sequence, and photos of the shoot have been released.

Even in freezing temperatures, he managed to heat up the set with his powerful moves. He refused to use a stunt double for the scene and fought through the cold rain in nothing but a wife beater and jeans. It's been said that Lee prepared for this action sequence for some time. As a result, he completed the scene perfectly without any NGs (no good scenes). It was probably hard enough to stand still in the mud, let alone fight and act in it. However, both Lee Min Ho and his action skills still managed to shine despite being covered in mud.
Lee Min Ho received formal martial arts training for several months. He practiced Arnis and Kali, a class of Filipino martial arts that emphasize weapon-based fighting. Many Korean fans became aware of Arnis and Kali through 2010's blockbuster movie "Ajusshi" starring Won Bin.

Meanwhile, the new SBS drama 'City Hunter' is a drama originally based on Tsukasa Hojo's worldwide hit manga, which especially attracts a worldwide attention because it's being produced as a TV drama series for the first time.

Lee Min Ho is acting the role of 'Lee Yoon Sung', who works at the Blue House's National Communication Network Team and received his Ph.D at M.I.T. He is putting his best effort and passion to his comeback drama after a year of break. Until now, he showed a soft image from 'Boys over Flowers' and 'Personal Taste', but this time he will demonstrate the more mature and strong Real man's image.

New Photos of Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young for “City Hunter”

While we’ve been getting an influx of Lee Min Ho’s stills, this is the first time Park Min Young’s teasers have been released. Lee Min Ho plays Lee Yoon Sung, a MIT graduate who works in the Blue House National Communications Team. In the released stills, he showed a chic and masculine look with a sharp long black jacket with grey pants. His monotone look gave off a very simple and comfortable yet chic style and fit his haughty character.
Park Min Young plays Kim Na Na, a former Judo athlete and current Blue House secret service agent. She sported a classic black suit matched with a white blouse for a clean charismatic look. She’s from a poor family and has a great sense of pride in what she does. Her role is to protect the president’s daughter played by Goo Hara. Fans are greatly anticipating the chemistry between chic urban man Lee Min Ho and charismatic lady Park Min Young.

"City Hunter" Lee Min-ho reveals pictures from Thailand

Actor Lee Min-ho's pictures from Thailand for the new SBS drama "City Hunter" (written by Hwang Eun-kyeong produced by Jin Hyeok) shoot were revealed.
The drama promoter revealed the pictures that were taken at the end of March during the Thailand shoot.
Lee Min-ho in the picture is looking differently manly compared to the previous "Boys over Flowers" and "Personal Tastes".
Lee Min-ho is a MIT doctorate, Blue House National Communications Team Lee Yoon-seong. He is bright and optimistic but always fighting with loneliness and fulfilling justice. It is quite different from the sweet but bad tempered roles from previous works.
Lee Min-ho was always eager and passionate all throughout the shoot. He made the atmosphere more comfortable for a more steady acting by joking around and talking to the local actors as well as listening well to the staff and being sincere at the same time.
The productions for "City Hunter" said, "There were some difficulties in shooting at Thailand due to the lower temperature than we expected but it showed how much Lee Min-ho cared for the project".
Meanwhile, based on a Japanese original, "City Hunter" solves cases delightfully and at the same time shows the lead character grow and complete into a City Hunter.

Lee Min Ho is currently in Thailand to shoot his new drama City Hunter; and teaser photos of him in Thailand have been released. Lee Min Ho has managed to shed his posh Goo Joon Pyo image for a more urban look.
City Hunter is an adaptation of the 1980’s famous Japanese manga of the same name and will detail the life of its protagonist as he learns and matures from his wounds. Lee Min Ho plays Lee Yoon Sung, a MIT graduate who works in the Blue House National Communications Team. It’s been said that Lee Min got along well with Thai actors as he joked and mingled with them. He’s also been very attentive to the advices from the cast and crew.
Representatives of SSD, the company producing the drama, stated, “The unusually cold weather made it hard to film, but Lee Min Ho never lost his passion and his energy. He has definitely matured over the last year, and the audience will surely fall in love with his character once again.” Lee Min Ho is joined by Sunkyunkwan Scandal’s Park Min Young and KARA’s Goo Hara. City Hunter airs its first episode on May 25th.
