SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong has announced that he’ll be making a solo debut!
B2M Entertainment revealed, “Kim Kyu Jong is currently working on an album with a release date by early September as his goal.” He’s currently completed most of the recordings, including his title track.
A representative revealed that although he was originally aiming to debut as an actor first, his passion for singing was too strong to ignore. Kim Kyu Jong finally gave into his soloist goals in the beginning of the year, and since then, he’s been slowly going through his preparations.
His fellow members’ solo debuts were also said to have been a source of great encouragement for him.
Since he’s the last member of SS501 to make his solo debut, expectations are rising high.

Kim KyuJong’s agency B2M representative hinted recently “Kim KyuJong is working on his album which is targeted to release in early September.” He is currently recording for the title song as well as the other tracks included for this album.
Kim KyuJong initially debuted as an actor, but shows very strong enthusiasm towards being a singer, therefore carefully prepared for his debut as a solo singer from the earlier half of this year. With Kim HyungJun, Park JungMin, Heo YoungSaeng and Kim HyunJoong already released before him, we know that there are some influence on his release of solo song.
